December 28, 2023: Crozet, VA 22932 Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 62-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Warriors host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Albemarle won 46-45 in their recent non-league bout against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA)
Next up, the Bruins clash with the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Western Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
