Ohio High School Basketball - Bishop Watterson nips Grove City
December 28, 2023: Columbus, OH 43214 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH) and the visiting Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH), saw Bishop Watterson's basketball squad hold off Grove City by a tally of 35-30.
With the victory, Bishop Watterson improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Grove City will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
