Indiana High School Basketball - Gibson Southern fells Floyd Central
December 28, 2023: Floyds Knobs, IN 47119 Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), 34-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gibson Southern upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Titans travel to Evansville Central (Evansville, IN) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Highlanders play the Jeffersonville Red Devils (Jeffersonville, IN) in a bout, on Monday, January 8. Floyd Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 54-20 league loss to Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN).
