Illinois High School Basketball - Simeon can't hold off St. Patrick
December 28, 2023: Chicago, IL 60634 The St. Patrick Shamrocks basketball team scored 32 points and restricted the visiting Simeon Wolverines to 25 in the Shamrocks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Shamrocks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nazareth Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. St. Patrick will battle a Roadrunners team coming off a 42-35 non-league win over De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 1-1.
The Wolverines (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Perspectives Leadership/Technology (Chicago, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Perspectives Leadership/Technology was nudged by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 32-29, in a non-league contest.
