Wisconsin High School Basketball - Arrowhead tops Waunakee
December 28, 2023: Hartland, WI 53029 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Arrowhead Warhawks (Hartland, WI) and the visiting Waunakee Warriors (Waunakee, WI), saw Arrowhead's basketball squad knock off Waunakee by a tally of 70-52.
With the victory, Arrowhead improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Catholic Memorial (Waukesha, WI) to play the Crusaders in a Classic Eight challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Catholic Memorial lost 41-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin (Franklin, WI)
Next up, the Warriors play the Milton Red Hawks (Milton, WI) in a Badger - Large challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Waunakee will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 72-42 non-league win over Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI).
