In Thursday's non-league outing, the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) basketball squad edged the host Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC), by a count of 58-57.

The Braves (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, George Washington held off Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC), 57-36, in a league outing.
