Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Notre Dame can't hold off Bensalem
December 28, 2023: Bensalem, PA 19020 The Bensalem Fighting Owls basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Notre Dame Irish to 38 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Fighting Owls now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Bucks East for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Bensalem will battle a Patriots team coming off a 59-44 non-league win over Western (Davie, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.
The Irish (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton Day (Princeton, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Princeton Day was nudged by Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ), 36-32, in a non-league contest.
