Boiling Springs Bubblers (Boiling Springs, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA), 39-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Boiling Springs upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bubblers travel to Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Bishop McDevitt lost 61-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA)

Next up, the Rockets play the Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout, on Wednesday, January 3. James Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 68-55 non-league loss to Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA).
