The Riverside Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Brighton Cardinals to 50 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Riverside will battle a Lions team coming off a 46-35 non-league win over Brighton (Brighton, TN). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.

The Cardinals (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Huntingdon (Huntingdon, TN). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Huntingdon ran past Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 74-63, in a non-league contest.
