December 28, 2023: Bethlehem, PA 18020 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Burgettstown Blue Devils (Burgettstown, PA), by a count of 60-37.
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA). The Hawks go into the Lehigh Valley outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Bethlehem Catholic smashed East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA), 67-22, in a non-league outing.
The Blue Devils now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Northgate for a WPIAL 2A 2 outing on Tuesday, January 2. Burgettstown will clash with a Flames squad coming off a 59-12 non-league loss to Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA). The Flames record now stands at 1-6.
