Wisconsin High School Basketball - West Salem thwarts Caledonia
December 28, 2023: West Salem, WI 54669 The West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Caledonia Warriors (Caledonia, MN), 60-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Luther (Onalaska, WI). The Knights go into the Coulee test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Luther went down by Mondovi (Mondovi, WI), 47-41, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dover-Eyota for a AA Section 1 test on Thursday, January 4. Caledonia will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 58-53 league win over Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 13-1.
