December 28, 2023: Newport Beach, CA 92663 The California Condors (Whittier, CA) basketball felled the host Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA), 53-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Condors (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Edison went down by Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 69-31, in a non-league test.
The Sailors now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Patriot for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Newport Harbor will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 69-17 non-league loss to Portola (Irvine, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-12.
