Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT), 39-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parish Hill upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Pirates host Weaver (Hartford, CT) to clash with the Beavers in a Capitol Region bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Beavers clash with the Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT) in a Connecticut Technical bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Cheney RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 42-16 league loss to Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT).
