December 28, 2023: Claremore, OK 74017 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK) basketball squad beat the host Claremore Zebras (Claremore, OK), by a margin of 39-19.
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Kansas (Kansas, OK). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Kansas defeated Colcord (Colcord, OK), 52-36, in a non-league outing.
The Zebras now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Collinsville for a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, January 5. Claremore will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 62-53 league loss to Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.
