The Hernando Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Cleveland Central Wolves to 36 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holmes County Central for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Hernando will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 60-38 non-league win over Forest Hill (Jackson, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-3.

The Wolves (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Avon, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Riverside triumphed over Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS), 57-53, in a non-league contest.
