December 28, 2023: Springfield, OR 97477 The Clovis West Golden Eagles basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Springfield Millers to 40 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McMinnville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Clovis West will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 69-43 non-league win over Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-1.
The Millers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Jesuit was routed by McMinnville (McMinnville, OR), 69-43, in a non-league contest.
