Mississippi High School Basketball - Pine Grove fells Corinth
December 28, 2023: Ripley, MS 38663 Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS), 53-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pine Grove upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Panthers host Houlka (Houlka, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Houlka lost 44-30 in their recent non-league bout against Vardaman (Vardaman, MS)
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Corinth will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 44-36 non-league loss to Hardin County (Savannah, TN).
