December 28, 2023: Molalla, OR 97038 The Country Christian Cougars basketball team (Molalla, OR), was overwhelmed 54-14 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting King's Way Christian Knights (Vancouver, WA)
The Knights now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castle Rock for a 1A Trico battle on Tuesday, January 2. King's Way Christian will confront a Rockets team coming off a 58-34 non-league loss to Elma (Elma, WA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-6.
The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR). The Challengers come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Cascade Christian trounced Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR), 63-43, in a non-league battle.
