The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Crestwood Knights to 28 in the Diamond Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Diamond Hornets now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lugoff-Elgin for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Lower Richland will battle a Demons team coming off a 47-35 non-league loss to Eau Claire (Columbia, SC). The Demons record now stands at 3-9.

The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hammond (Columbia, SC). The Skyhawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Hammond was routed by South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC), 73-34, in a non-league contest.
