Oregon High School Basketball - Toledo can't hold off Eddyville
December 28, 2023: Eddyville, OR 97343 The Eddyville Eagles basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Toledo Boomers to 28 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Falls City/Kings Valley Charter for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Eddyville will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 36-35 non-league win over Alsea (Alsea, OR). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-6.
The Boomers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Alsea (Alsea, OR). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Alsea was nudged by Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR), 36-35, in a non-league contest.
