Wisconsin High School Basketball - Jefferson ripped by Fennimore
December 28, 2023: Fennimore, WI 53809 The Fennimore Golden Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Jefferson Eagles to 40 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie du Chien for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 31. Fennimore will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 66-48 non-league loss to Cotter (Winona, MN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 7-4.
The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Lakeside Lutheran was routed by Milton (Milton, WI), 72-42, in a non-league contest.
