Wisconsin High School Basketball - Goodman-Pembine knocked off by Superior Central
December 28, 2023: Goodman, WI 54125 The Superior Central Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Goodman-Pembine Falcons to 35 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carney-Nadeau for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Superior Central will meet a Wolves team coming off a 66-12 non-league win over Marinette (Marinette, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 4-1.
The Falcons (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Marinette (Marinette, WI). The Marines enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Marinette ran past Wautoma (Wautoma, WI), 37-35, in a non-league contest.
