The Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT) basketball crushed the visiting Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT), 66-34 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cosmos (2-2) will now prepare for their test against White River Valley (Royalton, VT). The Wildcats go into the CVL test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, White River Valley was trounced by Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT), 44-34, in a non-league test.
