Georgia High School Basketball - Westlake nips Harrison
December 28, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30331 Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA), 47-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Dalton (Dalton, GA) to play the Catamounts in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Catamounts go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Dalton won 60-19 in their recent non-league bout against Alexander (Douglasville, GA)
Next up, the Hoyas play the Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA).
