The Redbank Valley Bulldogs basketball team (New Bethlehem, PA), was routed 69-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA)

The Cougars now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Punxsutawney for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Hazleton Area will battle a Chucks team coming off a 46-42 non-league win over Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Chucks record now stands at 7-0.

The Bulldogs (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA). The Warriors come into the Keystone Shortway battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Moniteau trounced Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA), 59-12, in a non-league battle.
