Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Plum knocked off by Hempfield
December 28, 2023: Landisville, PA 17538 The Hempfield Black Knights basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Plum Mustangs to 45 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Black Knights now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Lion for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Hempfield will meet a Lions team coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to West York Area (York, PA). The Lions record now stands at 3-6.
The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Hempfield Area was outscored by Indiana (Indiana, PA), 49-38, in a non-league contest.
