California High School Basketball - Hoover nips Los Banos
December 28, 2023: Fresno, CA 93710 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Los Banos Tigers (Los Banos, CA), saw Hoover's basketball squad hold off Los Banos by a tally of 54-50.
With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Madera South (Madera, CA) to play the Stallions in a North Yosemite challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Madera South won 37-22 in their recent league challenge against Sanger West (Fresno, CA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Los Banos will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 57-42 non-league loss to Caruthers (Caruthers, CA).
