The Lawrence Central Bears basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Magnificat Blue Streaks to 43 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond Morton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Lawrence Central will battle a Governors team coming off a 82-41 non-league loss to Magnificat (Rocky River, OH). The Governors record now stands at 9-6.

The Blue Streaks (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Hammond Bishop Noll was edged by Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN), 75-11, in a non-league bout.
