Illinois High School Basketball - West Chicago tops Lemont
December 28, 2023: Lemont, IL 60439 West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), 52-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Chicago upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Seneca (Seneca, IL) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Seneca won 40-35 in their recent non-league bout against Addison Trail (Addison, IL)
Next up, the Lemont HS play the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) in a South Suburban - Blue bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Lemont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 37-32 non-league win over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
