Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph-Ogden nudges Lutheran
December 28, 2023: St. Joseph, IL 61873 In Thursday's non-league outing, the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), by a margin of 45-42.
The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Indians go into the Illini Prairie outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Pontiac was tipped by Newark (Newark, IL), 53-52, in a non-league outing.
The Crusaders now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Normal University for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. Lutheran will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 69-17 non-league loss to Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-12.
