Kentucky High School Basketball - Wayne County topped by Menifee County
December 28, 2023: Frenchburg, KY 40322 The Menifee County Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Wayne County Cardinals to 50 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyle County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Menifee County will battle a Rebels team coming off a 65-35 non-league win over Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 6-3.
The Cardinals (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Defenders come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record.
