New Jersey High School Basketball - Paramus holds off Midland Park
December 28, 2023: Paramus, NJ 07652 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ) and the visiting Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ), saw Paramus's basketball squad hold off Midland Park by a tally of 37-30.
With the victory, Paramus improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ) to confront the Maroons in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Ridgewood won 57-19 in their recent non-league challenge against North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Emerson Cavaliers (Emerson, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Midland Park will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
