Texas High School Basketball - Steele thwarts Midlothian
December 28, 2023: Cibolo, TX 78108 The Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX), 54-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights (17-6) will now prepare for their test against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, North Lamar notched a victory over Hugo (Hugo, OK), 53-28, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to San Angelo Central for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Midlothian will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 72-31 non-league win over Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-8.
