Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton-Warrenville South crushes Normal West
December 28, 2023: Normal, IL 61761 Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL), 60-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wheaton-Warrenville South upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Springfield (Springfield, IL) to play the Senators in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Senators come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Springfield won 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Normal West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL).
