The O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) basketball nipped the visiting North Central Knights (Bassett, NE), 68-66 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Beatrice (Beatrice, NE). The Orangemen go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record.

The Knights now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Paul for a non-league test on Friday, December 29.
