The Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA) basketball knocked off the host Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA), 50-42 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Royals (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Harriton (Rosemont, PA). The Rams go into the Central test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Harriton went down by Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA), 67-37, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chester for a Delaware Valley test on Thursday, January 4.
