December 28, 2023: Benton, TN 37307 The Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) basketball knocked off the host Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN), 67-57 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Towns County notched a victory over Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 43-39, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hayesville for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Polk County will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 43-39 non-league loss to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-4.
