December 28, 2023: Monroe, LA 71202 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) and the visiting Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), saw Wossman's basketball squad wallop Ponchatoula by a tally of 70-43.
With the victory, Wossman improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Zachary (Zachary, LA) to confront the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Zachary won 62-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Ruston (Ruston, LA)
Next up, the Green Wave confront the Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Ponchatoula will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 49-36 non-league win over Mansfield (Mansfield, LA).
