West Virginia High School Basketball - Williamstown nips Ravenswood
December 28, 2023: Ravenswood, WV 26164 Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV), 46-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Williamstown upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV) to play the Rebels in a Little Kanawha - West bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Ritchie County won 52-43 in their recent non-league bout against Tyler (Sistersville, WV)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Ravenswood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Redmen go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 55-37 non-league loss to South Webster (South Webster, OH).
