The Silver Lake Mustangs basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Tri County Northeast Wolfpack to 42 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Exeter-Milligan/Friend for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Silver Lake will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-5.

The Wolfpack (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Red Cloud was defeated by Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE), 43-42, in a non-league contest.
