Maryland High School Basketball - Woodgrove trounces Surrattsville
December 28, 2023: Clinton, MD 20735 The Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) basketball crushed the host Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD), 113-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Patriot (Nokesville, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Patriot was trounced by Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), 59-30, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Langley for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Surrattsville will encounter a Saxons squad coming off a 57-35 non-league win over Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 10-1.
