California High School Basketball - Mt. Eden ripped by Irvington
December 28, 2023: Hayward, CA 94545 The Irvington Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Mt. Eden Monarchs to 11 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newark Memorial for a contest on Friday, January 5. Irvington will meet a Cougars team coming off a 46-18 non-league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
The Monarchs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against American (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, American was routed by Valley Christian (San Jose, CA), 39-35, in a non-league contest.
