North Carolina High School Basketball - Garner knocked off by Cardinal Gibbons
December 28, 2023: Garner, NC 27529 The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Garner Trojans to 46 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crusaders now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panther Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Cardinal Gibbons will battle a Catamounts team coming off a 78-38 non-league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 7-2.
The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Clayton was defeated by Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
