North Carolina High School Basketball - Concord thwarts Carolina International
December 28, 2023: Concord, NC 28025 The Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 52-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spiders (7-1) will now prepare for their test against North Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, North Charlotte notched a victory over Concord Academy (Concord, NC), 68-47, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Carolina International will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 36-35 non-league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
