California High School Basketball - San Diego nips Steele Canyon
December 28, 2023: San Diego, CA 92101 San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 45-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, San Diego upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Cavers travel to Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to play the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Clairemont lost 43-32 in their recent non-league bout against Escondido (Escondido, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the High Tech SD Storm (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Steele Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 46-42 non-league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA).
