December 28, 2023: San Jose, CA 95126 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), saw Lincoln's soccer squad get by Archbishop Mitty by a margin of 3-2.
The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Leigh for a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton test on Thursday, January 4. Lincoln will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Archbishop Mitty drops to 4-1 on the season. The Monarchs host St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a West Catholic test on Thursday, January 4.
