December 28, 2024: Detroit, MI 48202 University Prep Panthers (Detroit, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Adrian Maples (Adrian, MI), 68-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, University Prep advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Belleville (Belleville, MI) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-1. Belleville won 64-42 in their recent league match against Churchill (Livonia, MI)
The Maples now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dexter for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Adrian will face a Dreadnaughts squad coming off a 46-41 non-league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, MI). The Dreadnaughts record now stands at 3-2.
