Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Aliso Niguel Wolverines (Aliso Viejo, CA), 63-62 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Saguaro upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Sabercats host Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Desert Sky match on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-5. Mesquite lost 76-71 in their recent non-league match against ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)

The Wolverines now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Terrace for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Aliso Niguel will battle a Titans team coming off a 66-49 non-league win over Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Titans record now stands at 9-5.
