The Alleghany Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Liberty Christian Bulldogs to 43 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Stuarts Draft for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Alleghany will play a Cougars team coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Luray (Luray, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Liberty Christian falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to play the Flying Flucos in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2.
