In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cambridge Trojans basketball team scored a close 39-32 triumph over the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes.

The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Maywood/Hayes Center nipped Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 49-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Coyotes confront the Stuart Broncos (Stuart, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Anselmo-Merna will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record.
